A graduate of the CodeClan Professional Software Development Course, I'm a Junior Developer with experience building applications with Python, JavaScript & Java. I have also built games with Unity and C# and currently I am working on expanding my portfolio and learning new technologies.
About
A junior software developer recently graduated from Codeclan, I have a background of 9 years in Investment Banking Operations across various roles. I am used to working in a high volume and fast paced environment. I am a quick learner and love to tackle and solve problems.
I initially explored software development through self-learning as a hobby and then opted to pursue a career change via CodeClan’s Software Development course and I am now eager to build upon my new skills as I grow my career as a developer.
The CodeClan course was an intensive full time 16-week bootcamp covering fundamentals of development in Python, Javascript & Java. I completed over 800 hours of coding, finishing 2 solo projects and a group project in the process.

Current Projects
I am currently working on building a Stocks and Shares trading application using Blazor Server, SQLServer and MudBlazor UI.
Since finishing CodeClan I have looked at a number of other technologies and this has included C# and the .NET Framework. I have been learning about the different web developemnet models in .NET - RazorPages, MVC and Blazor - opting to use the component based model of Blazor to build this application.
The application currently uses a SQLServer Database and calls 2 separate APIs to source Stock pricing data and FX data.
